Shark and stingray viewing on a Miami flats boat tour

Flats

Miami Shark Tour

Look for sharks and rays on the skinny water with a captain who knows where they actually show. Private boat. Four guests max.

Look. Don’t crowd the water.

This is a viewing tour, not a circus. Captain Avant runs the Robalo Cayman 226 onto the Miami flats and you watch the water.

Sharks and stingrays use the same skinny water as the eco tour. Some days you see several. Some days you see the bottom and a ray. That is honest flats time.

You can pair this with the eco flats loop, a sandbar stop, or a Port of Miami run. Say what you want when you book.

How the tour runs

Small boat

A big sightseeing boat cannot idle these flats. The Cayman 226 can.

No feeding

We look. We do not chum a show. Wildlife comes on its own schedule.

Your group only

Four guests and Captain Avant. USCG-licensed and insured.

Good to know

Do we always see a shark?

No. This is wild water. The point is putting you on the right flats with a captain who works them.

Time and price

Most groups book 3 hours at $450. Add a fourth hour for $600 if you want skyline or sandbar after the flats. $250 deposit.
